Production Manager

TubeScienceLos Angeles, CA
$70,000 - $85,000Onsite

About The Position

TubeScience is the fastest-growing maker of performance-driven video content. We partner with some of the world’s most innovative brands to create, test, and scale videos that drive measurable growth. Our DNA is a mix of creativity, experimentation, and relentless execution — and our production team is the engine that brings ideas to life at scale. We’re looking for a seasoned Production Manager who has owned productions from the ground up — someone who’s built the plan, run the set, managed the team, and delivered the final asset. You’ll take the wheel on some of our highest-volume accounts, driving end-to-end execution across concurrent shoots with the confidence that only comes from having done this at scale. You’ll be the bridge between strategy and execution — equally comfortable running a set or leading a client-facing conversation, ensuring every project runs smoothly, on time, and on budget. If you love structure, move fast, and make complex productions look effortless — this role was made for you.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in production, with proven experience as a Production Manager — we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take on our busiest accounts from day one
  • Track record running multiple concurrent productions across formats — social, branded, digital, studio and field
  • Comfortable in client-facing situations — as natural in a stakeholder meeting as you are on set
  • Sharp on budgets of all sizes, vendor sourcing, and rate negotiation
  • Exceptionally organized and fluent in project management tools (Monday.com or equivalent)
  • Well-versed in IP clearance, insurance, and permitting workflows

Responsibilities

  • Turn creative briefs into clear, actionable production plans with defined timelines, budgets, and ownership
  • Lead pre-production — coordinating talent, crew, locations, and logistics to ensure everything’s ready for shoot day
  • Oversee on-set operations from setup to wrap, maintaining safety, timing, and alignment with the creative vision
  • Manage all logistics including props, wardrobe, equipment, clearances, and vendor relationships
  • Serve as a confident point of contact for brand partners and internal stakeholders throughout the production lifecycle
  • Track production progress across multiple concurrent shoots, ensure deliverables stay on schedule, and resolve issues in real time
  • Oversee post-production handoffs to ensure final assets are delivered on time and to spec
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency across shoots

Benefits

  • Health, Vision & Dental Coverage
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 401(k) + Matching
  • Life Insurance
  • Paid Sick Days
  • Parental Leave (Up to 12 Weeks)
