About The Position

We are a growing restoration company with a strong reputation for excellence in commercial and residential mitigation services. With a collaborative team and well-defined systems in place, we are looking for a Production Manager to oversee field operations, drive efficiency, and mentor team members while managing primarily water mitigation jobs and some reconstruction. The Production Manager will lead field operations with a focus on managing water mitigation jobs and ensuring exceptional client service. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on project management, with the opportunity to play a key role in our growth strategy. You will oversee a team of Project Managers, Lead Technicians, and Technicians, while directly managing large-loss and complex projects. This position requires a strong operational mindset, the ability to adapt to changes in the field, and a passion for mentoring and team development. While this position is focused on water mitigation, light reconstruction and collaboration with office staff are also part of the role, meaning you will not be doing everything on your own. Strong systems and processes are in place, making this a great opportunity to step in and lead.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in water mitigation, restoration, or related fields.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and large projects.
  • Balance between Technical expertise and interpersonal skills to provide mentorship to those under your lead.
  • Strong technical knowledge of water mitigation processes and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and communication abilities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple Project Managers simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in technology, including Matterport and project management systems.
  • Must live within a 45-minute commute of Alsip, Illinois (relocation is not offered).
  • A stable family support structure.
  • Ability to adapt and pivot quickly to field conditions and client needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with reconstruction work is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee water mitigation team, ensuring timely and quality delivery and providing mentorship to the field staff.
  • Take charge as the Sr. Project Manager of large, complex projects, serving as the key point of contact and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers, Lead Technicians, and Technicians, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
  • Work closely with the Office Manager to align field operations with administrative processes and client communication.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to established systems, processes, and industry standards.
  • Provide oversight of the documentation process, ensuring that all information is clearly recorded and added to the client file.
  • Serve as a forward-facing leader, building strong relationships with clients and maintaining a professional presence in the field.
