About The Position

Morley operates domestic and international meetings and events for top industry clients. As a Production Manager, you’ll be the project navigator who keeps the production/project team moving. You’ll work under the support and direction of the Producer and in partnership with clients, Morley operations staff and production suppliers as we work together to plan and execute live events. This role is remote but involves regular travel to event destinations.

  • Demonstrated understanding of creative and practical production
  • Able and willing to travel and accommodate a variable schedule

Nice To Haves

  • An understanding and working use of CAD
  • A working knowledge of photography, videography and related editing platforms
  • Practical experience in stage management and/or basic audio/visual operational skills
  • Working relationships/partnerships with vendors and contractors in the event production industry
  • CAPM and/or PMP certification

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and produce meetings
  • Record and distribute project discovery notes
  • Pre-production – plan and track production deliverables
  • Manage and communicate production objectives
  • Create, manage and distribute the production timeline to keep the team on track
  • Track, review, maintain and reconcile the production budget
  • Forecast and administer production accounts payable
  • Inventory program content and assets
  • Manage pre-production and on-site materials and media
  • Coordinate and distribute production direction and info on site
  • Create and manage production schedules
  • Manage crew logistics, travel and expenses
  • Track and distribute the production run-of-show
  • Handle on-site administration, venue logistics and production management for production staff and crew
  • Successfully deliver the production to the client
