Works collaboratively with the Process Engineer and other managers to make certain that employees are properly trained in specific machine operations.

Requirements

  • Must know and follow all GMP/ASI/IMS/ISO/SQF procedures.
  • Must be able to work safely and follow safety rules and JSA procedures.
  • Must be able to identify and report violations and unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Must be able to wear protective clothing such as a hair net, uniform, steel-toe shoes, gloves, and earplugs.
  • Must be able to effectively respond in emergency situations such as fires and accidents.
  • Must be able to follow all department procedures and directives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations management, engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, which includes plant supervision, quality control, maintenance, and production management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Nissei/Aoki/Sidel/Husky operations with technical Processing skills.
  • Good computer skills and administration skills.

  • Defines team roles and responsibilities
  • Supports group problem solving
  • Ensures progress towards goals
  • Acknowledges team accomplishments
  • Works to identify/develop CIP projects based on key business needs
  • Understands/acts on Metrics, measures “gap” and structures effective corrective actions
  • Trained in and uses the tools of CIP effectively
