Works collaboratively with the Process Engineer and other managers to make certain that employees are properly trained in specific machine operations.
Requirements
- Must know and follow all GMP/ASI/IMS/ISO/SQF procedures.
- Must be able to work safely and follow safety rules and JSA procedures.
- Must be able to identify and report violations and unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Must be able to wear protective clothing such as a hair net, uniform, steel-toe shoes, gloves, and earplugs.
- Must be able to effectively respond in emergency situations such as fires and accidents.
- Must be able to follow all department procedures and directives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations management, engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, which includes plant supervision, quality control, maintenance, and production management.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Nissei/Aoki/Sidel/Husky operations with technical Processing skills.
- Good computer skills and administration skills.

- Verifies cycle times, process sheets, and downtime logs
- Fosters team cooperation
- Defines team roles and responsibilities
- Supports group problem solving
- Ensures progress towards goals
- Acknowledges team accomplishments
- Works to identify/develop CIP projects based on key business needs
- Understands/acts on Metrics, measures “gap” and structures effective corrective actions
- Trained in and uses the tools of CIP effectively
