About The Position

The Production Manager leads manufacturing execution and site maintenance, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and on-time operations. This role involves converting the production plan into daily priorities, building leader capability, removing constraints, and improving equipment reliability. The Production Manager is responsible for leading operations in accordance with Tedia's safety, quality, PSM, RMP, and environmental requirements, owning daily manufacturing execution across shifts, and setting priorities while holding teams accountable for results. This includes translating the production schedule into clear staffing, equipment, material, and maintenance plans, and managing a team of four Manufacturing Team Leads and a Production Coordinator. The role requires maintaining visible performance management for key metrics, monitoring schedule attainment and customer commitments, escalating risks, and leading recovery plans. Staffing, overtime, training, qualification, attendance, and succession planning are also key responsibilities. The Production Manager will coach leaders through regular floor presence, shift handoffs, tier meetings, and performance reviews, ensuring production records and documentation are accurate and complete. Incident and deviation investigations, bottleneck identification, and leading improvements in flow, cycle time, changeovers, and yield are critical. Collaboration with Quality, EHS, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain is essential for resolving operating constraints. The role also involves partnering with the Engineering Manager on capital projects, defining operating requirements, coordinating plant resources, and ensuring startup readiness. Budget ownership for operating expenses, including labor, maintenance, contractor, and operating costs, is required. Additionally, the Production Manager will lead RC Maintenance personnel and work processes, set maintenance priorities, improve maintenance PM completion and work-order quality, and build a reliability culture to reduce repeat failures and unplanned downtime. Off-hours support and escalation for significant production or equipment issues are expected, along with performing other related duties.
