About The Position

Reser’s is a leading provider of fresh refrigerated foods for the supermarket and food service industries. Family owned and operated since 1950, Reser’s offers a family of brands including Reser’s American Classics, Main Street Bistro, and Don Pancho. The company operates facilities in the US and Mexico and actively supports the communities it serves. This role directs, coordinates, and manages production activities within the food manufacturing plant.

Requirements

5-10 years manufacturing experience in the food industry is required.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic PC skills are required.
Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets.
Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.

Nice To Haves

Some college is preferred.
English/Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership, coaching, and development for Supervisor team members.
Plans and establishes work schedules, and assignments to meet production goals.
Hires, trains, and evaluates production personnel.
Prepares and maintains production reports and personnel records.
Monitors production tracking and quality control systems.
Reviews operations and confers with administrative staff to resolve procedural problems.
Provides leadership to meet company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Monitors production processes to ensure adherence to food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Verifies that sanitation and hygiene protocols are followed by all production personnel.
Reports and escalates any food safety concerns or deviations promptly to Plant Manager and Quality Assurance.
Supports food safety audits and assists in implementing corrective actions as needed.
Trains and coaches team members on food safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
