About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Manager to oversee our production operations. This role is crucial for managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), SKU data, purchase orders (POs), manufacturing orders (MOs), production schedules, and inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain and operations, with hands-on experience in ERP/MRP systems and a proven ability to ensure data integrity and efficient production flow. You will be responsible for coordinating with various internal teams and external partners to meet production goals and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in production management, supply chain, or operations roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing BOMs and SKU data within an ERP/MRP system (e.g., SAP, or similar).
  • Proven ability to track and manage POs and MOs in a high-SKU environment.
  • Experience managing component and finished goods inventory, including cycle count programs, stock transfers, and inventory adjustments within an ERP/MRP system.
  • Familiarity with Katana MRP and Shopify for production planning and order management integration.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Katana MRP for production scheduling, inventory management, and shop floor control.
  • Proficiency with Shopify for order management, fulfillment workflows, and inventory sync across sales channels.
  • Background in consumer goods, electronics, apparel, or contract manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-level BOMs for all SKUs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to component specifications and sourcing.
  • Own and maintain the master SKU database, ensuring accurate product attributes, dimensions, and descriptions across all platforms.
  • Issue and track POs to suppliers and MOs within the ERP system, resolving discrepancies and providing status updates.
  • Develop and manage detailed production schedules, identifying and mitigating bottlenecks or risks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for components and finished goods, monitoring levels and establishing reorder points.
  • Design and maintain a cycle count program for all inventory categories, investigating variances and reconciling counts.
  • Oversee stock transfer transactions and authorize inventory adjustments, ensuring accurate system updates and audit trails.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between procurement, logistics, quality, and sales operations teams.
  • Lead weekly production and S&OP meetings.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by driving production readiness.
