About The Position

Air & Anchor is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Manager to oversee our production operations. This role is crucial for managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), SKU data, purchase orders, manufacturing orders, production schedules, and inventory. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, efficient production planning, and seamless coordination between various internal teams and external partners. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, manufacturing processes, and ERP/MRP systems.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in production management, supply chain, or operations roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing BOMs and SKU data within an ERP/MRP system (e.g., SAP, or similar).
  • Proven ability to track and manage POs and MOs in a high-SKU environment.
  • Experience managing component and finished goods inventory, including cycle count programs, stock transfers, and inventory adjustments within an ERP/MRP system.
  • Familiarity with Katana MRP and Shopify for production planning and order management integration.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Katana MRP for production scheduling, inventory management, and shop floor control.
  • Proficiency with Shopify for order management, fulfillment workflows, and inventory sync across sales channels.
  • Background in consumer goods, electronics, apparel, or contract manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and govern multi-level BOMs for all active and in-development SKUs, collaborating with engineering, R&D, and procurement.
  • Own the master SKU database, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all platforms, and coordinating new SKU setup and sunset processes.
  • Issue and manage POs to suppliers, tracking from confirmation through delivery and receipt, and create/monitor MOs within the ERP system.
  • Develop and manage detailed production schedules, balancing capacity, lead times, and demand forecasts, and implement corrective actions for bottlenecks or delays.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for both raw material/component stock and finished goods, monitoring levels and managing finished goods inventory across all distribution points.
  • Design and maintain a cycle count program covering all inventory categories, investigate root causes of count variances, and reconcile results in the ERP/MRP system.
  • Oversee all stock transfer transactions between locations and process inventory adjustments in the ERP/MRP system.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between procurement, logistics, quality, and sales operations teams, and lead weekly production and S&OP meetings.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by driving production readiness milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and document control requirements.
