About The Position
As the Production Manager, you will oversee production and warehouse operations within the facility. You will meet all business metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost along with employee engagement and culture. You will work onsite in Monroeville, PA and will report to the Manager, Operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, in an Engineering field highly preferred
- 5+ years' proven experience in an industrial/plant environment
- 2+ years demonstrated experience as a supervisor/manager
- Able to work in an office environment within a chemical manufacturing facility with frequent plant exposure.
Nice To Haves
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of operators in a plant environment.
- Ensure and coordination between two shifts, engineering, environment, health, and safety (EHS), and other support functions on site.
- Ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of quality products.
- Support development and optimization of continuous improvement systems and processes, and work with engineering to implement process changes which improve safety and quality.
- Help train new employees, updating procedures, transferring new products, and maintaining supplies needed for plant operations.
- Work with the OLED, Photochromic and Hi-Gard process development groups to transfer and manufacture new products.
- Support the two main customers of the SSG plant (Universal Display Corporation and Transitions).
- Provide data and discuss issues with products and supply of materials.
