About The Position
Creative Dining Services is looking for a passionate and motivated Production Manager to join our dining services team at Dordt University. As Production Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring nutritious, flavorful, and properly prepared meals are delivered across campus operations in a fiscally responsible and sustainable manner. You’ll work closely with the dining leadership team to create an outstanding experience for students, staff, and guests every day.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of food service experience
- ServSafe Certification required
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
Nice To Haves
- Management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Train, lead, and support kitchen staff
- Assist with hiring, scheduling, timekeeping, and team development
- Supervise culinary operations across dining locations
- Partner with the Executive Chef and Dining Services leadership team
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, staff, vendors, and the campus community
- Help drive operational improvements and production efficiency
- Ensure high standards for food quality, safety, and presentation
