About The Position

M&M Industries is a U.S.-based manufacturer of plastic pails and packaging solutions. We operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and operational performance are critical to success. The Production Manager plans, organizes, and controls production to ensure goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard. This role directly oversees all manufacturing supervisors and is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques

  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Implement and control the production schedule in coordination with planners, maintenance, tooling, and processing teams
  • Review and adjust production schedules as needed
  • Develop and sustain KPIs that drive results across Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost Control
  • Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
  • Make decisions regarding equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement
  • Implement standard operating procedures for production operations
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are followed and adhered to
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
  • Set product quality standards
  • Monitor quality standards of products
  • Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
  • Analyze production and quality data to detect and correct problems
  • Determine and implement improvements to the production process
  • Prepare and maintain production reports
  • Monitor and review staff performance and organize necessary interventions for improvement
  • Set production budgets
  • Manage production budgets

  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the team while coaching and engaging hourly employees
