Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
  • Strong background in assembly processes and fabrication
  • Experience in machine building and production procedures
  • Knowledge of LEAN, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to lead teams through growth and change
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and manage all assembly activities with a focus on cost‑effective operations
  • Align team goals with Caljan’s strategic objectives and foster a culture of recognition and accountability
  • Champion a proactive safety culture; coordinate internal/external audits and incident investigations
  • Oversee staffing needs, performance evaluations, coaching, development, and corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement using LEAN, 5S, and best‑practice manufacturing principles
  • Manage production planning, scheduling, and workload distribution
  • Use our ERP system to track labor, costs, efficiency, quality, and on‑time delivery
  • Ensure quality control procedures are followed at every stage of assembly
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues
  • Prepare BOMs, routings, production orders, and complete production order packages
  • Coordinate with purchasing and logistics on machine and parts deliveries
  • Lead departmental meetings and contribute to broader production and strategic discussions
  • Chair the Safety Committee and oversee emergency management procedures
  • Support annual budgeting, year‑end inventory, and monthly KPI reporting
  • Provide regular updates to the Managing Director
  • Perform other duties as needed to support a high‑growth environment
