About The Position

This role is responsible for leading day-to-day production operations to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The Production Manager will supervise, coach, and develop production team members, monitor production schedules, capacity, and workflow to meet customer demand, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and throughput. This position also involves partnering with manufacturing engineering, quality, and supply chain to resolve production issues, ensuring adherence to standard work, work instructions, and operational procedures, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs). The role supports training and workforce development, maintains a safe working environment, and participates in New Product Introduction (NPI) readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of production or operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production reporting (SAP experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in electro-mechanical or industrial product manufacturing.
  • Background in high-mix, low-volume production environments.

Responsibilities
