About The Position

NBCUniversal Corporate Communications in New York is seeking a full-time Production Manager to join their team. This role is for an experienced production specialist with a strong understanding of print and digital execution, focused on delivering high-quality, brand-consistent work. The Production Manager will prepare, refine, and deliver final assets across various mediums, including large-format graphics, event collateral, internal communications, and digital content. This position requires expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, with a focus on file setup, color accuracy, retouching, versioning, and meeting technical specifications. The candidate will partner with designers to translate creative concepts into production-ready files, manage high-volume workflows, adapt assets across formats, and ensure consistency. They will also troubleshoot production issues, recommend best practices, and maintain quality control. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams for asset management and supporting overflow production needs for digital communications, presentations, and print collateral.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of production design experience, preferably in media, entertainment or an in-house agency environment
  • Fluent in Adobe’s Creative Suite, with thorough knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator a must
  • Deep Understanding of print and digital processs
  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail with demanding deadlines
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, refine, and deliver final assets across a wide range of mediums, including large-format environmental graphics, event collateral, internal communications, and digital content.
  • Ensure expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, with a strong emphasis on file setup, color accuracy, retouching, versioning, and meeting technical specifications for production and distribution.
  • Serve as a key partner to designers, helping translate creative concepts into production-ready files while maintaining the integrity of the original vision.
  • Manage high-volume workflows and adapt existing assets across multiple formats and sizes.
  • Ensure consistency across all deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges, recommend best practices, and uphold quality control standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support asset management, including organizing, naming, and deploying content through internal systems.
  • Support overflow production needs spanning digital communications, presentations, and print collateral.
