About The Position

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily manufacturing operations, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and production goals are met. This role leads teams, manages schedules, maintains quality standards, and drives continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience required
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Must follow all PPE and safety requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze work orders to estimate labor and develop production schedules
  • Ensure proper allocation of materials, staffing, and equipment
  • Adjust workflows and procedures to meet production demands
  • Supervise, train, and develop production employees
  • Assign and direct work, monitor performance, and resolve employee issues
  • Promote a positive, accountable, and team-focused work environment
  • Inspect and verify products meet specifications
  • Direct machine and process adjustments to maintain quality standards
  • Identify and implement improvements to production methods and efficiency
  • Analyze and resolve operational issues, supporting team problem-solving
  • Work with internal teams to ensure production aligns with customer deadlines
  • Communicate production issues and updates to leadership
  • Enforce safety policies and environmental standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS)
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain work instructions and procedures
  • Monitor compliance and report on operational performance
  • Directly oversee employees within the manufacturing department
  • Manage training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Plan, assign, and coordinate daily work activities
