Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, or Business.
  • 8+ years of experience in food or related manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations within a regulated or food production setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work with business-related software tools.
  • Advanced mathematical and analytical skills, including formula creation and data analysis.
  • Experience developing complex spreadsheets, including use of advanced functions and nested formulas.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with fermentation processes (e.g., wine, beer, ethanol) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with corporate for production scheduling, inventory planning, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining all required permits and documentation.
  • Oversee plant capital expenditures, including spending control and reporting to corporate.
  • Develop and manage the site operating budget, standard costs, and required accounting processes.
  • Partner with the corporate HR team to manage all plant personnel matters.
  • Oversee plant operations (fermentation, filtration, concentration, transfer, and storage) to meet production and staffing requirements.
  • Ensure all operations comply with Kerry quality assurance programs.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels of critical raw materials and manage timely replenishment.
  • Supervise inventory processes, including preparation of inventory and closing records.
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
  • Manage logistics, including truck scheduling, carrier coordination, and ensuring product availability to meet customer delivery timelines.
