About The Position

The Production Manager will be responsible to ensure that manufacturing equipment and tools function properly and increase organization’s efficiencies. The Production Manager will perform tasks such as taking inventory, making supply orders, handling disputes among team members and regularly assessing safety standards in all areas of the Pressroom for multi-million-dollar global account(s).

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment and 2-year supervisory experience
Demonstrated leadership skills in a printing manufacturing environment
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Printing experience, desired.
Offset Printing experience, preferred

Responsibilities

Formulate, recommend and implement manufacturing policies and programs which maintains and improves the company's competitive edge and the profitability of the operations.
Direct and coordinate those activities so that products are manufactured to specifications and on schedule, and within quality standards and cost objectives.
Assure that company objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements and company goals.
Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free.
Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
Ensure that all material and supplies are available for each production department's operation.
Ensure that production meetings occur and participate in other meetings required by management.
Review operating performance reports on a regular basis with supervisors.
Responsible for reducing spoiled-work and waste.
Conduct special projects as requested by management.
Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement.
Identify, train, hire, and sustain talent.
