Requirements
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of concrete manufacturing processes, production planning, and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience managing production teams, equipment, and operational performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Ability to obtain applicable industry certifications, including ACI, QCAST, VDOT, and MSHA.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and occasionally climb ladders, walk production areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Experience with concrete batch design preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise production, maintenance, quality, and safety activities across plant operations.
- Partner with the plant manager to implement safety programs, training, and compliance initiatives.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for production supervisors and employees.
- Establish production goals, monitor performance, and implement improvements to meet operational objectives.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support preventive maintenance efforts.
- Monitor labor utilization, overtime, and operating expenses to support efficient plant performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost control.
- Maintain high standards of workplace organization, housekeeping, and employee engagement.
