About The Position

The Production Manager directs and coordinates department activities to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• 3 years of related experience
• Exceptional Microsoft Office suite skills, specifically Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in a related field
• 5 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives to obtain data required for planning department activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress and problems encountered.
• Gives work directions, resolves problems, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
• Coordinates activities of department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency and economy.
• Prepares reports and records on department activities for management, using computer.
• Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives to develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
• May initiate or authorize employee hire, promotion, discharge or transfer.
