Job Summary Belden’s Production Manager plans, directs, and manages all physical and organizational aspects of production to meet the production requirements for the facility. This role falls under Belden’s Alpha Wire Brand. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and will work onsite from our Carson, CA facility. Primary schedule is first shift, with support for second shift as-needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a 2-year technical degree with relevant experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Spanish and English language fluency required
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Kaizen experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing manpower requirements of the plant employees in order to effectively meet manufacturing targets and goals.
  • Assisting with the enforcement of plant practices such as safety programs, preventative maintenance programs and quality audits.
  • Managing plant production workflow and qualifications of production equipment contributing to the overall functionality of the production process.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and efficiency of operators and production flow.
