About The Position

We're seeking a Production Manager to lead plant operations and drive performance across safety, quality, machine uptime, cost, waste reduction, and process reliability in a high-speed manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll partner closely with plant leadership to optimize operations, strengthen cross-functional teams, and help position the facility as a low-cost producer and preferred supplier for customers. Your leadership will directly influence operational performance, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ years of production management experience
  • Corrugated paper industry experience required
  • Deep manufacturing knowledge, including corrugating and converting equipment
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments
  • Strong capabilities in: Building effective teams, Driving results and engagement, Strategic thinking and business insight, Managing complexity and ambiguity, Optimizing work processes, Directing work and influencing teams
  • A hands-on leadership style with strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall plant performance, with accountability for: Safety, Cost management, Machine uptime, Product quality, Waste reduction, Process reliability
  • Champion a safe work environment, ensuring OSHA compliance and consistent safety practices across operations
  • Partner with the General Manager and cross-functional leadership to meet quality, production volume, and delivery targets
  • Help develop and implement short- and long-term operational strategies to improve efficiency and support low-cost production goals
  • Manage leaders across customer service, production, quality, shipping, scheduling, and maintenance
  • Build and develop high-performing teams, fostering employee engagement, accountability, and operational excellence
  • Align plant assets and operational priorities with broader strategic plans
