About The Position

The Production Manager manages and provides technical guidance and direction pertaining to the coordination of all aspects of the Distribution Center’s operational production divisions. This is a temporary position not-to-exceed (NTE) 30 October 2026.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations and performing statistical analysis on operations like the size and complexity to the operations offered in this contract.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Direct distribution center performance planning in support of current and future operations.
  • Oversee systems management to ensure distribution center systems are operational and functional.
  • Manage the divisions in execution of stock positioning and storage of material.
  • Oversee the execution of traffic management to ensure operational production divisions are provided timely and efficient support.
  • Oversee the analytics of daily workload management and staffing impacts to ensure the distribution center meets its KPIs.
  • Manage the planning and implementation of site-specific missions.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Enforce a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Ensure all training requirements are met and fulfill all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participate in emergency response tasks, and serve on safety committees and teams.
  • Conform to the Quality Policy and carry out job activities in compliance with applicable Quality System documents and customer contracts.
  • Read and understand Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities.
  • Read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
