About The Position

The Production Manager manages and provides technical guidance and direction pertaining to the coordination of all aspects of the Distribution Center’s operational production divisions. This is a temporary position not-to-exceed (NTE) 30 October 2026.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations and performing statistical analysis on operations like the size and complexity to the operations offered in this contract.
Minimum of 2 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

Direct distribution center performance planning in support of current and future operations.
Oversee systems management to ensure distribution center systems are operational and functional.
Manage the divisions in execution of stock positioning and storage of material.
Oversee the execution of traffic management to ensure operational production divisions are provided timely and efficient support.
Oversee the analytics of daily workload management and staffing impacts to ensure the distribution center meets its KPIs.
Manage the planning and implementation of site-specific missions.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Enforce a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
Ensure all training requirements are met and fulfill all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participate in emergency response tasks, and serve on safety committees and teams.
Conform to the Quality Policy and carry out job activities in compliance with applicable Quality System documents and customer contracts.
Read and understand Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities.
Read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
