About The Position

This leadership position will drive overall operational performance with various product lines at our Auburn, AL facility, including hands-on interaction with the Materials and Planning team. The right candidate will drive a culture of Continuous Improvement while achieving year over year performance improvement to exceed our stakeholders' expectations and enable growth in the business and play a key role in creating a vision as well as achieving short- and long-term strategic planning objectives. Manages execution of moderately to more complex manufacturing projects (e.g. moving production to a new plant) from the feasibility stage through implementation. Develops and controls a large project or multiple small projects including project plan(s), budget, and resources necessary to complete project(s). Identifies and resolves operational and other functional issues that may impact business performance in the short-term. Identifies and develops recommendations and plans for future Regal projects that would further improve the plant or business performance. Liaisons with business leadership, Regal customer(s) and vendor(s) for the successful completion of the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Excellent communicator exhibits energy and shows sense of urgency.
  • Skilled with the entire Microsoft suite of offerings including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, etc.
  • Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: 80/20, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, Visual Daily Management, etc.
  • Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem area & potential solutions.
  • Analytical skills to properly interpret data.
  • Business & Financial Acumen with solid experience supporting demand/supply pipeline.
  • Visionary Leadership; Engaged and dynamic leadership.
  • Strategic and tactical skills.
  • Strong cross-functional facilitation and teambuilding skills.
  • Must be in your current position for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible to apply for other internal positions, unless the position is considered a promotion.
