About The Position

Responsible for leading all production operations within the EMV manufacturing department, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output. Accountable for achieving departmental KPIs in safety, scrap reduction, productivity, on-time delivery, and cost control, while developing a high-performing operations team. Drives performance through Lean manufacturing, KPI management, and strong team leadership. Partners with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and availability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/operations leadership experience.
Strong analytical skills, including statistical reasoning.
Experience with operational controls, manufacturing processes, logistics, safety, and quality systems.
Demonstrated leadership experience developing teams and driving performance.
Experience with Lean manufacturing and GMP principles.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
High standards of personal integrity.

Experience in the plastic card, EMV, or secure card manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

Lead daily EMV production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
Execute production schedules and ensure alignment with customer requirements and inventory accuracy.
Monitor and improve KPIs: safety, scrap, efficiency, throughput, cost.
Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and rapid issue resolution.
Reduce scrap and rework through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with EMV, security, and regulatory requirements.
Implement Lean manufacturing, standard work, and process optimization initiatives.
Manage departmental budget and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
Provide monthly performance and P&L insights to leadership.
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production staff.
Ensure training, cross-training, and skill development to support operational flexibility.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to resolve issues and improve performance.
Support new product introductions and process changes.
