About The Position

Provides maintenance support for the plant. Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs varied machinery and related equipment, including electrical equipment up to three phases and 480 volts. Performs preventive maintenance, maintains records, supports production personnel with equipment troubleshooting, responds to unplanned equipment failures, and helps maintain parts inventory. The role requires proper use of personal protective equipment, communication about equipment issues and safety concerns, and the ability to work with minimum supervision.

Requirements

At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving issues involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, circuitry, PLC, AC/DC drives, and welding fabrication.
Intermediate math and computer skills.
English written communication skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 70 pounds, and work in hot environments on a constant basis.
Ability to meet objectives and deadlines with minimum supervision.
Demonstrated proper use of personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, including replacing motors, relays, and switches on equipment up to three phases and 480 volts.
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain records to support safe, reliable equipment.
Serve as a point person for production personnel regarding preventive maintenance and troubleshooting problem equipment.
Diagnose and repair forklifts, pumps, hydraulics, and other related equipment.
Maintain and refill parts inventory.
Respond promptly to unplanned equipment failures and resolve issues causing production downtime.
Communicate effectively with machine operators and supervisors about equipment issues and safety concerns.
Use personal protective equipment properly.
Complete related tasks as requested by the supervisor.
