About The Position

TE-CO is seeking a Production Machinist to set up and operate machine tools that manufacture metal parts to precise specifications. The role supports product quality, production efficiency, and a clean and safe work environment. On-the-job training is provided. Prior assembly experience is preferred but not required. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; scheduled overtime may be required to support operational priorities.

Prior assembly experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints to determine part dimensions, tolerances, operation sequence, and setup needs.
Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials for production machines.
Start and monitor machine operations, identifying and correcting malfunctions or deviations.
Verify finished workpieces meet specifications using precision measuring instruments.
File, sand, shape, or clean machined parts as necessary.
Suggest or replace worn machine accessories to maintain performance.
Monitor and replenish coolant levels.
Keep machines and surrounding areas clean and organized, removing chips daily.
Proactively request necessary supplies and tools.
Accurately document production data, including piece counts.
Assist in setting and optimizing production standards.
Develop or update process documentation when needed.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
