About The Position

This is a full-time role for a Production Machine Operator 1. The position is located in Simi Valley, CA, US. The company is conducting an exclusive confidential search, and details will be shared with qualified applicants. The role involves operating and maintaining production machinery to meet daily production and quality targets. The work is performed onsite on first shift (M-F, 5:00am–1:30pm) and requires collaboration with production peers and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations. The work directly impacts product quality, throughput, and workplace safety.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience operating machinery, preferably in a factory setting
• Experience with lathes, milling machines, and stamping presses
• Ability to use hand tools and perform maintenance tasks
• Knowledge of tooling and ability to work with a variety of materials
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
• Basic math proficiency and strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Effective oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on production machines and test equipment
• Use job travelers, blueprints, schematics, models, or specifications to perform work accurately
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions to restore peak performance
• Ensure adequate raw material stock and perform scheduled equipment maintenance
• Evaluate and verify that production items meet tolerances and specifications
• Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers) to ensure product quality
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work variable schedules, nights, weekends, or additional hours as necessary
