About The Position

Responsible to work with Loaders in loading, reloading and unloading route delivery trucks and semi-trailers accurately at an efficient rate as determined by management. This role involves the physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment to fill Palletizer/Forklift responsibilities. The individual will assist Loaders in building customer orders according to assigned load tickets, operate industrial power equipment for lifting and moving product, and stage completed pallets in a designated area. Additionally, the role requires manually lifting and moving product to restock and repack, ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation. The position holder must adhere to good manufacturing and safety standards, meet productivity requirements, and maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • One (1) year general work experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and work instruction.
  • Ability to respond to common inquires.
  • High degree of ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied in both written and verbal format.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Certified Forklift License for lift operation.
  • Clear MVR Record.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse experience preferred.
