About The Position

The Production Line Worker operates production, filling, and/or packaging equipment efficiently and safely on production and packaging lines. The role supports the production of Walden Farms products while maintaining quality and production standards and participating in all aspects of production work. The Packer’s primary responsibility is to accurately count and pack product cases and ensure packaging meets company quality standards. The worker may move between production and packing lines and operate auxiliary equipment as instructed by the floor supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
A minimum of 1–2 years of previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with food quality and safety programs, including HACCP and FSMA.

Nice To Haves

Experience in packing, filling, blending, batch making, or other food- or cosmetic-related work.

Responsibilities

Operate production-line and floor equipment as required.
Accurately count and pack product cases, ensuring packaging meets company quality standards.
Maintain quality and production standards while operating equipment.
Understand the overall production line.
Stack and unstack cases and pack boxes.
Inspect bottles, labels, and cases.
Communicate product, box, and label changes to the Production Supervisor and understand those changes.
Clean the work area during shifts and changeovers.
Participate in general sanitation of the production space.
Maintain expected production speeds.
Report food safety and quality issues to plant management and quality.
Follow safety, GMP, and quality requirements.
Work flexibly across production and packing lines as instructed by the floor supervisor.
Operate auxiliary machines and equipment as required.
Follow processes to meet or exceed customer specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
