About The Position

In the position of Production Line Mechanic you will maintain and repair machinery, equipment in accordance with established manufacturing procedures to achieve efficiency, quality and optimum production objectives.

Requirements

Beverage industry and/or high-speed manufacturing experience.

Nice To Haves

Technical degree or license in mechanical maintenance or related field of study
Between 1-3 years of experience in performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair
Microsoft Office ability to modify basic reports, documents, and spreadsheets in Word and Excel
Electrical or mechanical engineering trade school certifications

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance checks on machines and equipment used in production.
Install, diagnose, analyze, maintain, modify, repair and/or rebuild a variety of plant and facility equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and operate efficiently; basic electrical equipment problems such as changing fuses, buttons, and switches.
Contribute significantly to the manufacturing process by ensuring product quality, safety, and efficient operations.
Commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Examine manufactured products and identifying faults or defects.
Paying attention to details and practicing analytical techniques help them improve productivity
Maintain accurate documentation for assignments, machine repairs, parts inventory, and maintenance logs
Assist production personnel in change-over and set-ups.
Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine users
Utilize specific knowledge for a variety of skilled trades, including but not limited to, production and facility machinery and equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pipefitting, carpentry, utilities, etc.
