About The Position

Ditsch USA is hiring Line Leads for our new Kemper location. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will keep production moving, support a team, and make an impact every shift. Ditsch USA creates memorable pretzel experiences for food service and retail customers. We take pride in quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement and we are looking for leaders who want to help our people and production lines succeed. The 1st Shift is from 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM / 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Thursday, with Fridays as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food production.
• Strong communication, coaching, teamwork, basic math, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read production documents, follow specifications, and work overtime or weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, squat, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures, equipment, noise, and required safety gear.

Nice To Haves

• Previous lead, leadership, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Food production experience is helpful, but strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are most important.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support production employees during the shift.
• Keep production moving safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
• Monitor workflow, staffing needs, changeovers, and shift transitions.
• Reinforce food safety, sanitation, GMP, and workplace safety expectations.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and communicate updates to supervisors.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
• Support continuous improvement, reduce waste, and help minimize downtime.
