Position Responsibilities Identifying opportunities to increase the effectiveness of the transformation process and lead the optimization of these processes. Creating, implementing, auditing and coaching on performance improvement programs which impact the daily results and effectiveness of all employees. Leading and supporting the completion of detailed continuous improvement plans. Leading technical improvement projects. Reviewing and making improvements by using performance data such as effectiveness, line stops, quality defects, to maintain a safe environment and eliminate contamination sources. Leading regular performance improvement meetings Acting as a facilitator in regard to problem solving skills. Supporting and leading development activities for autonomous maintenance and other related continuous improvement programs. Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment. Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies are met or exceeded.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years Manufacturing experience
  • 3 – 5 years Management / Supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Product Operations, or equivalent field of study
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system.
  • Technical problem-solving experience
  • Team Player / Collaboration / Risk taking / Organization
  • Communication written / Oral
  • Ability to lead teams and achieve results through resources

Nice To Haves

  • Food industry experience in a union environment preferred
