Nature Fresh Farms is seeking a Full-Time, permanent Production Line Lead for their Production Department at their Laredo, TX facility. This role involves leading a team of 10-20 employees, ensuring production lines run efficiently, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness. Requirements

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with fresh produce is a plus.
Spanish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Delegate work to 10-20 employees on production lines, including training, organizing, and delegating employees to achieve required performance levels.
Review daily work orders and ensure packages are completed to customer specifications.
Monitoring production lines to ensure they are running efficiently; Quickly troubleshooting to keep lines moving.
Make sure the queues are ready before starting each order.
Make sure the lines are properly cleaned after completing each order.
Ensure that employees are properly trained in all Nature Fresh procedures, including occupational health and safety procedures.
Ensure that employees work safely at all times and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) or other safety equipment.
Make sure work areas are always clean and protected from hazards.
Oversees inventory of packaging materials and reallocation as needed.
Accurately complete all related documentation and paperwork as required by management.
Report operational issues or delays to the Production Supervisor in a timely manner.
Informs the Production Supervisor of employment relationship issues so that the Supervisor can handle them in a timely and appropriate manner.
