About The Position

Atlas Roofing Shingle and Underlayments is seeking Production Line Laborers for Clinton, IA. We are currently accepting applications and interviewing candidates for positions expected to begin in October and November 2026. Starting at $20.00 per hour, plus applicable shift differential. You’ll become an important part of our production team while receiving hands-on training in one of several positions throughout our manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment.

  • Are willing to work 12-hour workdays, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Regularly required to communicate verbally and hear effectively.
  • Frequently requires standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs and ladders, grasping, performing fine and gross motor movements, and reaching both forward and above head level throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Able to work in varying temperature conditions.
  • Able to safely operate assigned machinery.
  • Regularly push, pull and/or lift up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all job duties safely, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring compliance with all plant safety policies and procedures, including all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Assist in production and shipping of high-quality roofing products that meet customer specifications.
  • Set up raw materials and equipment to established standards.
  • Inspect product throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Operate forklift, bobcat, or other equipment to perform assigned duties.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues, communicating shift updates, and supporting continuous improvements in safety, quality, and production efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through routine housekeeping, cleaning, painting, and other facility maintenance tasks.
  • Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
