About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support our manufacturing operations. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely transporting materials throughout the facility to ensure uninterrupted production. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting shipping and receiving operations, and meeting customer delivery requirements.

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
Ability to obtain certification upon hire.
Basic computer skills and experience using RF scanners or inventory systems preferred.
Ability to read shipping documents, work orders, and inventory labels.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Supply production lines with materials according to production schedules.
Stage materials for production, shipping, and storage.
Verify material quantities, labels, and locations before movement.
Utilize RF scanners, barcode systems, or warehouse management systems to complete inventory transactions.
Perform pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report equipment issues promptly.
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and company policies.
Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to operate powered industrial equipment for extended periods.
Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist throughout the workday.
Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must meet vision and physical requirements necessary for safe forklift operation.
