About The Position

Yanfeng is seeking a Production Leader to oversee the second shift operations, ensuring efficient production flow and team management. This role involves coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials to meet customer demand, reviewing shift pass-downs, conducting daily staff meetings, and compiling key performance indicator (KPI) data. The Production Leader will also train and develop supervisors, manage performance reviews, and complete end-of-shift reports. Additional responsibilities include coordinating scrap review meetings, participating in staff selection, conducting operator efficiency reviews, performing LPA audits, and enforcing 5S standards. All employees are expected to adhere to quality, EHS, product safety, compliance, and information security requirements, as well as company policies. The role requires the ability to work additional hours as needed, multitask, interact professionally with stakeholders, and maintain regular attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure necessary manpower, equipment and components are available to meet customer demand.
  • Review prior shift pass down to prioritize actions needed to fulfil production requirements.
  • Coordinate daily staff meeting to discuss current production status, past issues and upcoming activities.
  • Compile KPI data for daily management review.
  • Monitor current running status and open issues throughout the day.
  • Train and develop Supervisors and manage the Performance Review process and their career development.
  • Review and/or complete end of shift report and distribute to manager and appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate Scrap review meetings with Supervisors and support functions.
  • Participate in staff selection and recruitment process.
  • Perform Daily Operator efficiency reviews and provide root cause of any issues.
  • Participate in LPA audits.
  • Audit and enforce 5S standards.
