About The Position

Majestic Steel is seeking a Packager (Material Technician) to join their production team on 2nd shift. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all materials are handled with precision, care, and meet quality standards. Majestic Steel USA is a family-owned, leading steel distribution, processing, and solutions company with 10 strategic locations across North America. They serve diverse markets including HVAC, construction, equipment, agriculture, and appliance industries.

Requirements

Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required
Strong attention to detail
Ability to operate assigned equipment safely
Effective communication skills
Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds
Ability to mount & dismount equipment
Capable of walking, climbing, and bending for periods of time
Comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years of manufacturing and/ or warehouse experience
Basic computer skills such as data entry and retrieval

Responsibilities

Review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
Identify and report any damage or quality issues and advocate for safety by adhering to guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment.
Work collaboratively with production crew to meet assigned goals and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
