About The Position

The Royal Group Louisville, a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, currently has an exciting opportunity available for a 2nd Shift Production Lead in Louisville, KY. As a Production Lead you will be responsible for the daily routine of producing quality product in a safe, productive manner with minimum waste. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • May be required to maintain a current Forklift Operator License
  • Project and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow directions accurately
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • An energetic, motivated, and dependable worker that is dedicated to the job and team
  • The ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates.
  • The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in the corrugated industry or other 2-4 years’ work experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain quality, efficiencies and production levels set by production supervisor/superintendent
  • Perform recordkeeping tasks, including inventory management and order tracking
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time
  • Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment
  • Keep management informed of problems or situations that may affect the performance of your department
  • Communicate with necessary supervision to avoid problems between shift changes
  • Attend all plant safety meetings
  • Additional duties as assigned
