About The Position

Sensical Inc. is a manufacturing company specializing in high-quality components for the automotive industry. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Production Lead to support our 2nd Shift production team. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will help lead a team of 20+ employees, including temporary team members, while working closely with the Production Supervisor to keep the production floor safe, organized, and running efficiently.

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold employees accountable.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production needs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• compression molding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of 20+ employees on the production floor.
• Communicate daily assignments, priorities, and production expectations.
• Monitor production, quality, safety, attendance, and workflow.
• Help train and onboard new employees.
• Coach employees on attendance, performance, safety, and quality.
• Communicate employee or production concerns to the Production Supervisor.
• Support the Production Supervisor with daily staffing and production needs.
• Help identify and resolve issues that may affect production, quality, or safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
• Lead by example with a hands-on presence on the production floor.
