Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of production experience operating equipment
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Detailed oriented and can multi-task
  • Excellent time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the food/beverage industry
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing or production environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean work area, including occasional hosing down and mopping.
  • Assist line operators with dropped items, spillage, and general organization of the production area.
  • Ensure the work area is organized and free of debris, especially near the filler.
  • Adhere to the "clean as you go" program.
  • Operate and troubleshoot equipment, supporting maintenance during downtime.
  • Assist with package changeovers on all equipment, including adjusting rails and swapping change parts.
  • Coordinate breaks and lunches with operators and provide relief.
  • Ensure highest productivity by maintaining a balanced line and minimizing waste of materials.
  • Perform quality checks, including sensory (CQP), monitoring CCP requirements, brix, TA, label usage, coding, and tray/RSC usage.
  • Coordinate with forklift operators on correct bottle usage.
  • Ensure the line is well-organized and free of debris.
  • Wash down any juice spillage to minimize slippery conditions.
  • Verify employees are using equipment guards and following safe lifting and machine operating procedures.
  • Train new employees in the assigned work area.
  • Lead by example and assist colleagues.
  • Be accessible for employee questions regarding areas of expertise.
  • Provide positive recognition for good employee behavior.
  • Provide feedback to managers on individual and team performance.
  • Be accountable for food safety, food quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Notify management about actual or potential food safety issues.
  • Adopt and maintain all SQF requirements.
  • Work with supervision to resolve food safety and quality issues.
  • Perform product taste tests as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
