About The Position

We’re looking for a talented Production Lead to join our leadership team at the Kindig Lane facility in Hanover, PA! This is your chance to take your manufacturing experience and leadership skills to the next level while playing a key role in supporting the Production Supervisor with daily operations. In this full-time position, you’ll work Monday to Thursday from 5:55 AM-5:55 PM, helping to ensure smooth production processes and maintaining the high-quality standards we’re known for. Requirements

  • Requires analytical, math and reading skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Requires leadership and management to direct the department and interface with other departments
  • Knowledge of designated packaging and processing operations to assist when needed
  • Must be forklift and high reach certified or willing to do so
  • Moderate lifting and occasional skid pulling

Nice To Haves

  • Fluent in Spanish desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Production Supervisor in leading packaging, processing, and sanitation activities, and act as backup Supervisor in their absence.
  • Monitor attendance, evaluate individual performance, and train packaging personnel to meet production standards.
  • Efficiently schedule personnel to fulfill daily production requirements.
  • Operate forklifts and high-reach equipment (certification required or willingness to obtain).
  • Communicate downtime, production issues, and product overflow to the Production Supervisor.
  • Ensure quality product standards are met and upheld.
  • Execute and monitor tasks to maintain accurate data in ERP systems.
  • Manage material usage and waste on assigned lines to support cost-saving initiatives.
  • Utilize tools such as RedZone, 6S Principles, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Enter work orders and track maintenance tasks in the EAM system.
  • Lead and organize projects as assigned by management.
  • Identify and separate questionable finished products for supervisor review.
  • Maintain and communicate line-level KPIs and performance standards as part of the Integrated Work Systems (IWS).
  • Promote and ensure the safety of the team while fostering a culture of health and safety.
  • Enforce GMP, food safety practices, and SQF system requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support company and department goals.
