About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly Production Lead for the 2nd shift. This position starts at $24 per hour with a $1 shift differential. The role involves leading a team of hourly team members to achieve business results in a safe and efficient manner, coordinating activities with various departments, and supporting company policies and procedures. The Production Lead will create an environment that expresses concern and consistency toward all team members, promote cooperation and dedication to superior workmanship, and provide training on company policies and job-specific duties. They will also monitor and enforce adherence to GMPs and specifications, maintain high levels of sanitation, housekeeping, and product quality, follow daily work schedules, and encourage the best use of energy and resources with minimal waste. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazarded Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs.
Must be able to motivate a diverse workforce and lead by example.
Must be able to coach, train, and take corrective action, including discipline, when appropriate.
Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and possess a problem-solving mentality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good math skills

Nice To Haves

SQF, GMP, and HACCP certification a plus.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
