About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Production Lead - 1st Shift to join the Wilsonville, OR site. The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive plan. Shift Hours: 6:00am-3:00pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Requirements

  • High School diploma from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Gantt Charts and Production Scheduling processes
  • Experience working with wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of material, and change notices
  • Experience working with KANBAN and inventory allocation systems
  • Experience with quality control systems and reports
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel for data and metric reporting
  • Able to communicate clearly and give direction to team
  • Able to address and resolve problems with minimal supervision
  • Ability to develop team and positively influence team morale

Responsibilities

  • Be the owner of accurate, up to date area Tier 1 boards and scheduling tools; Responsible for effective Tier 1 meetings
  • Collaborate with line other leads, Production Line Control (PLC), and line Supervisor to flex labor as needed
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and PLC to identify and resolve production interrupters
  • Communicate Manufacturing Change Notices (MCNs) and ensure all posted area documentation is current and accurate.
  • Responsible for effective QC process in area, and application on DMR and NCR process.
  • Participate in line level CI initiatives (such as 5S and kaizen events) and facilitate problem solving with your team.
  • Utilize Leader Standard Work (LSW) to manage daily activities and priorities
