About The Position
Leads the production team to meet daily production goals in alignment with company policies and quality system. Oversees and supports daily production activity, prepares and maintains production documents, shipping logs, and inventory. Inspects orders and creates and inspects labels. Collaborates with the manager to establish, communicate, and execute measurable production and cultural goals to deliver uncompromised safety, quality, service, and performance objectives. Implements production operations to meet prescribed productivity and quality goals, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality systems. Anticipates and takes corrective action for potential problems. Coaches the production team towards common objectives, applying motivational and correctional techniques, including coaching and disciplinary actions. Assigns specific duties to personnel to achieve daily production goals.
