About The Position
Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with a Lancaster, NY manufacturer, is seeking a Production Lead and Supervisor. In this role, you will work with the plant manager to supervise all team members in the department and assist within other areas of the plant. This is a first shift position, working from 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, with a pay rate of $18 to $20 per hour.
Requirements
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good Verbal Communication
- Learn and follow safety and work rules
- Leadership ability in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor training and production in a fast-paced, medium to heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Review and oversee plant safety and enforce rules and regulations.
- Work with other plant supervisors and leads to ensure material and packing is in compliance with customer requests.
