About The Position

Toasted Oak Grill and Market, located inside the Renaissance Baronette Hotel, is seeking Line Cooks for the dinner shift. This is a vital role supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The restaurant is part of the hospitality industry, dedicated to offering guests authentic local experiences and unconventional stays that inspire curiosity and create memorable stories. The mission is to redefine business travel by blending comfort with adventure in each of their 160 hotels worldwide. Requirements

1-2 yrs minimum experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or relevant position
Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation
Understanding of food safety practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food service operations

Responsibilities

Food preparation, working the line and meal assembly to ensure timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food prep areas.
Support kitchen staff with inventory management and ingredient handling.
Help with cooking, plating, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
Collaborate with culinary team to uphold quality standards.
Contribute to a positive, efficient kitchen environment.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
Cook and plate menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
