About The Position

The Production Lead will lead and support team members in the production and packaging of Kringle, cakes, artisan baked goods, and seasonal items. This role oversees mixing, baking, decorating, and packaging processes to meet production goals, coordinates mail order packaging and seasonal product fulfillment, and ensures accuracy and timeliness. The Production Lead will also train, coach, and develop team members, monitor production flow, address bottlenecks, staffing needs, and inventory levels, and ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, SQF, and OSHA standards. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining documentation, collaborating with other departments, and serving as acting Supervisor when needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in food production, baking, packaging, or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); ability to read and follow instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with artisan baking, mail order fulfillment, and seasonal product packaging is a plus.
• Spanish language skills a plus, but not required.
