About The Position

We are currently seeking a Production Lead for our Mooreland, OK plant.

Requirements

  • Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Strong sense of responsibility; understanding of business implications of decisions
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively in generating solutions
  • Highly organized and capable of effective, efficient multi-tasking
  • Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and must be able to effectively present information to others
  • Flexibility to work effectively in a changing environment
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or changes in priorities
  • Exercises good judgment and discretion in determining best method and procedure to be followed
  • Ability to rapidly process and comprehend large amounts of detailed information and to consider the implications and consequences of new facts and make decisions
  • Proven leadership skills; ability to build consensus, rally support around common goals and to motivate groups and individuals
  • 3 years leadership experience
  • Great time/task management skill
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skill
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily activities of department employees
  • Demonstrate and promote Arcosa Values
  • Follow, promote, and enforce all safety rules and practices to ensure a safe work environment
  • Drive Change Events, Lean Events, Goals and Company Policies
  • Accurately record and report all necessary documents related to the department
  • Utilize Lean tools to enhance production throughout while maintaining a high production standard
  • Manage all assets & resources to ensure all required deliveries are met
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Identify issues, determine a root cause, and implement counter measure
  • Mitigate challenges by utilizing innovative ideas and methods
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
