About The Position
Employee supervises and coordinates activities of the glass shop department. Assures fulfillment of production quantity and quality of the garage door section lights. Performs any position within the department as necessary.
Requirements
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Able to lift 50-75lbs safely
- Able to stand for extended periods of time (10-12 hour days)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 -3 years of specific or transferrable experience required
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory / lead experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Communicates production issues to production/office staff
- Creates pull lists for ATO and closes out all router orders
- Maintains adequate section stock for glaziers
- Maintains scrap reports
- Obtains parts from inventory when necessary
- Retrieves and is responsible for fulfillment of unallocated product reports and expedition thereof.
- Performs tasks of any position within the Glass Shop as needed to meet production needs
