About The Position

National Vision is seeking Production Lab Techs for its growing optical manufacturing facility. These entry-level positions are available in the Inventory and Finish Departments. Production techs are responsible for expediting job orders through the manufacturing process efficiently to serve customers. Duties include observing data on job orders, sorting and organizing jobs, utilizing RF scanning, and performing other department-specific tasks.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write English.

Nice To Haves

• Prior mass production experience is preferred.
• Prior machine operation experience is preferred.
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
• Prior related or optical experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties depending on assigned department and lab needs.
• Expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner.
• Observe data on job orders.
• Sort and organize jobs.
• Utilize RF scanning.
• Perform other department specific tasks.
